verge works with education professionals to provide improved environments for students in prep, primary
and secondary schools, as well as those with special needs.
By employing sustainable design principles throughout the design process we seek to provide learning environments which are flexible, stimulating, age appropriate and community oriented.
Projects can also involve student participation. This can be a valuable tool to enable students to have a more intimate
understanding, association and value in their context. This also enables schools to make better use of their spatial resources
and increases student awareness of the processes around them- both natural and professional.
verge’s work on school projects ranges of broad scale masterplanning to detailed landscape interventions. verge recently
participated in an Enquiry By Design workshop for John Paul College. This workshop with the school, professional consultants,
and stakeholders produced a masterplan for the College and a project timeline extending to 2026.
