The verge team is made up of a number of talented landscape
architects whose focus is on sustainability and the creative design of built environments.
Directors Peter Boyle, Steve Langton & Deb Robbins bring together a skill base which compliments all areas of landscape architecture in both the public and private sectors.
Peter Boyle brings his extensive experience of landscape master planning, environmental planning and design to projects within the built environment. Peter works with the
big picture in mind, ensuring project delivery retains the
important ideas that underpin great landscapes.
Peter has worked on a range of government and
commercial projects, involving design, documentation and
implementation of landscape planning and management
projects. Peter is a founding Director of verge.
Steve Langton brings to verge his accomplished skill in
landscape design, documentation to projects in the public
and private sector. Steve ensures the big picture ideas are transferred into solid and reliable contract documentation
that serves to realize great landscapes.
Steve has worked on a range of high profile urban design
projects, both in Australia and overseas. He worked for
five years as a Project Landscape Architect within
Brisbane City Council’s Urban Design Team and is a
founding Director of verge since 2000.
Deb Robbins brings to verge her considerable knowledge
and skills in landscape design. Deb is a designer whose
creative approach to landscape design is a constant
throughout the design process, from the generation of
design concepts, through to the evolution of living
landscapes.
Deb has worked on award winning urban design
interventions within streetscapes, major infrastructure
projects, including the NSBT, Airport Link & Northern Link
Environmental Impact Statement's. Deb is a founding Director of verge.
Dan Plummer is a Landscape Architect who has worked
on the design and documentation of a range of projects,
both individually and as part of a team. Dan’s experience
in creative design and documentation covers both the
public and private realm from individual gardens to
streetscapes, subdivisions, parks, schools and commercial
projects. Dan also has extensive experience of project
management on a range of projects.
Lauren Hadler is a graduate Landscape Architect with a
keen interest in design and the contribution that art can
make to the spaces and landscapes around us. Lauren
has a developing experience of working both individually
and as part of a team on a range of public and private
projects
Sophie Kitson is a graduate Landscape Architect with a
particular interest in environmental planning and creative
sustainable design solutions. Sophie is currently working
with a range of private and public sector clients in both an
individual and team capacity.
John Taylor is a graduate Landscape Architect and Horticulturalist. John has experience in the design development and documentation of a range of landscape projects. He is a qualified Horticulturalist with a keen interest in innovative planting design and sustainable built environments.
